Our Nutmeg is cultivated in India, in the province of Wayanad, State of Kerala. It has a strong aromatic power, with a penetrating and musky scent, a warm flavor, with a slight nutty aroma. It helps fight against digestive disorders. It also alleviates pain but can have psychotropic effects, it should be consumed sparingly. It goes very well with potatoes (mash, gratins), it perfumes white sauces such as Béchamel and jams.
