Our Nettle is cultivated in France, in the Loire department. It has been gently picked up by hand and dried by a traditional process. This stinging and unloved plant nevertheless has many virtues. It has been used since prehistoric times. It is rich in vitamins and minerals, is a very good diuretic and anti-inflammatory. Its taste of greenery is very appreciated and it can be cooked in the same way as spinach. Nettle soup is the most famous dish.
