Lot of 3 postcards from the series "La Cigale et l'Éléphant" on the theme of gastronomy and rain which are aimed at Nantes residents as well as visitors to the city for a souvenir! These colorful illustrated postcards appeal to the imagination of Nantes to promote the local culture and heritage: "La Cigale et l'Éléphant" are two characters winking at a famous Nantes Art Deco brasserie and the flagship attraction of the Machines de l'île . Model LU: They enjoy an LU biscuit on a lace tablecloth. Apéro model: they have a glass of muscadet, a sandwich of LU biscuits with canned sardines in the company of a gray heron. The elephant wears lamb's lettuce on its head and a priest from Nantes acts as the moon.
