I created La Cooperativa out of a love of a job well done. As an epicurean, I have worked all my life in the service of gastronomy and tableware, exporting beautiful traditional French and European brands. With La Cooperativa, I decided to embark on a new adventure: that of importing gourmet and artisanal products of high taste quality. The products I select are systematically grown and processed in their country of origin, to guarantee authentic quality and a unique taste experience. I collaborate with artisans who focus on their know-how and their love of the original product. We work hand in hand to export the fruits of their labor and promote their brands in France and Europe.
It was only natural that I chose Colombia, my native country, to source my first products. A tropical country located on the equatorial line, it offers incomparable conditions for growing cocoa, in an interesting variety of agro-ecological systems that give this heterogeneous country the greatest potential for the development of this crop. Bathed by two oceans, crossed by the Andes mountain range, and covered in the south by the Amazon rainforest, this country has a terroir of incomparable richness.I chose producers who embody these five values:
