A natural clay with great absorbing power, Terre de Sommières was discovered in the village of Sommières near Montpellier in the 19th century. Extracted from quarries in the Mediterranean basin, it is untreated, unrefined and non-toxic to the environment. Extra-fine clay, the earth of Sommières is a great dry stain remover, without halo, of greasy stains on carpets, leather, marble, parquet floors... but also on fragile surfaces such as textiles (even silk).
