Spreadable Tomatoes & Old Rodez

A cheese recipe which highlights a little-known local product but which is worth a detour, Vieux Rodez, which will remind you of a certain Italian cheese.   Cheese made and matured in Aveyron, it was launched at the initiative of Italians from Puglia who, wanting to compete with Parmesan, came to look for cheese in Aveyron, a territory well known for its cows and therefore its milk.    Ingredients: tomatoes* (47%), dried tomatoes* (11%), onions*, Vieux Rodez (5%) (milk), olive oil*; balsamic vinegar* * Ingredients from organic farming Recipe idea: The Swiss army knife of spreads that will please everyone!Try it with pasta, rice or simply a slice of toast with fresh basil.
