Proud of their native region, Berry, Alexandre Rizzotto and Nicolas Guilloteau have decided to enhance its most emblematic resource: goat's milk. In the land of the Crottin de Chavignol, the idea is not lacking in spice!
Experienced in the world of craft spirits – Alexandre co-founded La Philosophe vodka – they were able to count on the support of a network of local operators to launch the project in 2016, following crowdfunding.
Since then, the range has continued to expand in terms of flavors, but also through the use of cow's milk. In two years, 50,000 bottles were produced. Today, the team is made up of four people.
You can find La Capricieuse in wine shops, delicatessens, cheese shops, restaurants and bars, everywhere in France, but also abroad. The Vanille & Hazelnut versions are available locally in supermarkets in France.
La Capricieuse can be enjoyed on its own, as an aperitif or digestive, in a stemmed glass simply chilled or with crushed ice. It can serve as a base in a cocktail or be used in cooking, in a sweet or savory version.
