VIRGIN SWEET ALMOND OIL

Olimande is an almond oil obtained by gentle and respectful pressing from organic fruits selected in the Mediterranean (Italy or Spain). Essentially of non-bitter sweet varieties, the almonds are shelled just before pressing to guarantee a higher purity. According to an old technique, the fruits are partially de-oiled to preserve the nutrients as much as possible and the oil yields are reduced to extract only the first pressing juice. The oil is then filtered and packaged, without additives or preservatives. From fruit selection to packaging, each step is supervised to provide equal quality. The result is a virgin almond oil from the first cold pressing with great fluidity, penetrating and naturally rich in unsaturated fats and vitamin E. A vegetable oil to rediscover in food. Produced under unique conditions, this oil preserves all the benefits of the fruits and in particular the oily part of the almonds. Rich in unsaturated fats, Olimande is also rich in vitamin E. With more than 70% unsaturated fats, it contains in particular a very high content of oleic acid. Since oleic acid is an unsaturated fat, using Olimande in a diet as a replacement for saturated fats can help maintain normal cholesterol levels. Vitamin E helps protect cells against oxidative stress. Ideal as a seasoning or marinade, Olimande can also be used in cooking in various savory or sweet recipes thanks to its richness in monosaturated fats.
