In 2014, aware of the mortality of bees, Thierry Dufresne, founder of La Manufacture du Miel, created the French Apidology Observatory. The OFA acts to safeguard bees, which are essential to life, to preserve biodiversity and to our food security.
La Manufacture du Miel, a partner of the OFA, makes its colonies available for research programs that it supports financially. This approach, sincere and authentic, involves rigorous beekeeping protocols guaranteeing extremely pure and precious honey.
Our mission: to work for the revaluation of hive products, in order to restore honey to its letters of nobility and thus participate in the protection of bees and the maintenance of biodiversity.
