Inspired by the audacity, courage, and freedom of the characters in the novel Treasure Island, we created La Marque Noire Rum Distillery in 2019 in Angers.
Designed for taste adventurers, our distinctive rums are distinguished by their unique 3-step production process.
1 - Inside sealed vats, we immerse whole, organic, ripe fruits or spices for several months in a rum distilled on the island of Reunion. ( A good rum, lots of fruit to respect tradition)
2 - We press! We filter! Therefore, for each recipe, we can use the sugars naturally present in each fruit. ( This way, we achieve authenticity and intensity of flavor.
3 - Finally, as with a wine made with several grape varieties, we blend several maceration tanks with our sugars. ( The difference in quality is there!)
Thanks to this seasonally-focused and precise work, we obtain filtered, original, clear and balanced spirits. The taste of our recipes is consistent and our bottles truly deliver 100% of the drinking volume.
