Anna Desnitskaya takes us to meet two children: Lukas has just left the Chilean capital to move near the sea, Vera has always lived in Kamchatka, in the far east of Russia. From one side of the ocean that separates them to the other, everyone has the feeling of living at the “end of the world” and dreams of finally having a true friend. Without knowing it, they will end up sending towards the horizon, with the beam of their flashlight, the same message in Morse code. The light signals will cross, reversing the direction of reading the book, and bringing everyone the long-awaited sign: I am here, I want to know you.
