The adventure of The Rose and the Peacock – Paris took shape with the discovery of India and its wonders of fabrics and colors. The creator, Dinorah Bötsch Brault, textile designer, is passionate about fabrics and particularly loves 18th century Indians, these cotton fabrics which were printed with a wooden pad.
La Rose et le Paon home textiles are created and designed in France, and printed with the magnificent ancestral blockprint technique, in India, in partnership with these NGOs.
A trip to India and wonderful meetings with NGOs allowed the designer to make possible a project to which she wanted to give meaning, to build a united approach and ethical production, with the values of handmade and tradition.
Table linen, cushion covers, accessories and lampshades are on offer, and now spelled and lavender relaxation cushions;
The lampshades are made in France with fabrics from La rose et le Paon, in a work aid establishment with hand-printed fabrics from La Rose et le Paon.
