
Wine in Organic Farming Appellation: IGP Vaucluse Grape varieties: 60% Merlot & 40% Syrah Terroir: Mainly clayey-sandy soil, very little limestone. Vine about twenty years old, trained in a double cordon de Royat and located on the northern slope of the Petit Luberon. Permanent controlled grassing 1 row out of 2. Area surrounded by hedgerows which are both biological reservoirs, but also natural protection against climatic hazards. Vinification: Manual harvest, total destemming which provides suppleness and notes of red fruits. Traditional vinification in concrete vats with maceration of 3 weeks on average. No input added during vinification, only a slight correction in SO2 at the time of bottling to avoid any risk of deviation. Tasting: Garrigue, Red fruits & Balanced TAV: 13.5% vol. alc.
