
Wine in the 3rd year of conversion to Organic Farming Appellation: AOP Luberon Grape varieties: Syrah, Grenache noir & Mourvèdre Terroir: Our most beautiful plots located on the northern slope of the Petit Luberon below the village of Oppède-le-Vieux, in the Lones sector. Vines over 30 years old for the Syrah and beautiful 60 year old vines for the Grenache. Low yields on clay-limestone soils with some pebbles. Vinification: Plot selection, and vinification in concrete vats. Aging in new oak barrels of 300 and 500 liters only, for 24 months. Tasting: Deep garnet color with ruby red reflections. Complex woody nose, with notes of morello cherries and spices. In the mouth, the attack is frank and the wood marked. Powerful tannins, beautiful structure, with a balance between substance and aromas. Very good aging potential between 10 and 15 years. 15.5% vol. In 3 words: Intense, Woody & Spicy
