Its name is inspired by the Marseille city, where the brand was founded. A Marseille legend says that one day a sardine blocked the Old Port. A story that is told from generation to generation and which is the heritage of Marseille. For the little anecdote, it was actually a boat called Sartine that sank in the harbor of Marseilles and blocked traffic.
The sardine is a reminder of the power of transmission and imagination when linked to creativity. A way to express yourself and pass it on to future generations.
The word Plastic meanwhile refers to the visual arts and wants to restore its nobility to the word. Before being a material, plastic is an adjective meaning: "which has the power to give shape". What better word to talk about expression and creativity?
