Handmade tea tree oil soap

Tea tree oil - the origin The tea tree is a myrtle family and comes from Australia. Thousands of years ago, the Aborigines recognized the healing properties of tea tree leaves. With the crushed leaves of the tea tree, they healed wounds and skin infections and also prepared infusions to relieve coughs, colds and muscle aches. Even today, tea tree oil is indispensable in cosmetics and as a natural remedy in naturopathy. The oil is extracted from the leaves of the tree by steam distillation and is still considered to be one of the most valuable and effective oils made from plants. The main active ingredients of the oil are characterized by their anti-inflammatory, wound-healing, disinfecting and fungicidal properties. The oil gets its aromatic, spicy scent from the main active ingredient terpinen-4-ol. The tea tree oil soap can be used to cleanse the body, face and hands. It is suitable for almost all skin types and has an antibacterial effect thanks to the tea tree oil it contains.
