A real specialty of the LANTENHAMMER distillery are the unfiltered spirits - for connoisseurs who are looking for unadulterated taste experiences. The Williams and red Williams pear, wild raspberry, mirabelle plum, rowan berry and sour cherry varieties are bottled unfiltered. All the important components and aromas of the fruit are preserved in this way. The addition of mountain water to the distillate creates turbidity - caused, among other things, by essential oils and minerals. This is referred to as the so-called chill haze, which can hardly be seen at temperatures above 20 °C and very well as a dense fog at temperatures below 6 °C. This is not a reduction in quality, but simply a whim of nature. The visible guarantee for maximum enjoyment. Our mirabelle plums are grown and harvested in small family businesses in the Lorraine region near Nancy and Metz. Some of the small, yellow "plums" come from the area around Randersacker in Franconia. Sensory: Fully aromatic, very voluminous bouquet, particularly intense in its fruitiness, the unfiltered plum brandy is reminiscent of a warm summer day in the mountains.
