For this rum experience, master distiller Tobias Maier chose the finest sugar cane, which was fermented in the traditional Lantenhammer distillery in Upper Bavaria and distilled twice using a particularly gentle pot still process. Only the heart of the rum was allowed to mature to perfection in two handpicked and very rare 225 liter ex-Mezcal barrels from a small Mexican distillery in the Oaxaca region in the Bavarian mountain air. The barrels, in which agave brandy is traditionally stored, give this RUMULT Mezcal Cask Selection a fruity and at the same time slightly smoky character. After three years, an absolute rum rarity was created, which is presented in a special wooden designer packaging with Bavarian-Mexican motifs. Odor: Finely aromatic smoky notes combined with an intense rum character. The complex structure with a variety of fruity aromas is surrounded by light, sweet notes of honey. Taste: A multi-layered fruit bouquet unfolds on the palate combined with strong wood notes from Mexican Mezcal barrels. The delicate smoke nuances give a pleasant mouthfeel with spicy hints. aftertaste: Harmonious, warming facets extend to a spicy and intense finale.
