LAZARE is a brand of slippers and leather shoes, specialized in the first steps.
We offer models in soft vegetable-tanned or rhubarb-tanned leather and made with a rubber sole that promotes the development of walking and a barefoot sensation.
To achieve this, we worked with a panel of 330 mothers with children between 0 and 4 years old to better understand their expectations in terms of footwear, materials or even closures.
We went further by interviewing three podiatrists, specialists in the study of the foot. Unanimously, these professionals recommend leather slippers and shoes and flexible, thin and light soles.
Beyond the well-being of the child, we were keen to offer eco-responsible slippers. We work with a vegetable tanned leather of excellent quality and allowing ultra flexible models. We have limited the design and production of our products to Portugal, specifically north of Porto.
