Le Béret Français® was born from the meeting of artisans with exceptional know-how, with an entrepreneur passionate about "Made in France".​
​ The charm of the beret works in France as well as abroad, through its emotional appeal, its symbolic value, and its simplicity. It was in the small village of Laàs, in Béarn, where the beret was created, that Le Béret Français launched in 2012, notably to preserve a unique and disappearing know-how.

In 2018 we moved to Bayonne (where you can come and see us!),to be able to produce more, and continue our conquest of the whole world, with one idea in mind: to produce better in order to better respect the environment.​
​ Our berets are 100% made in France, by hand, and exclusively in our workshop with quality French merino wool, with an excellent quality/price ratio to be accessible to all.
Le Béret Français combines craftsmanship, fashion and innovation. A durable product, it is fashionable yet timeless!​
​ And in 2024 we are taking over the Le Bonnet Francais brand, now also manufactured in Bayonne, at the foot of the Pyrenees!
