HERBORIST by Jean Maison

After more than 45 years of experience in the production and trade of aromatic and medicinal plants from organic farming and harvesting of certified wild plants, Jean Maison wishes to share his thoughts and his commitment in favor of the "simple" through this illustrated book whose title HERBORIST pays homage to this profession. After a summary of the history of medicinal plants and herbalism, it presents 40 plants and 20 mixtures chosen from those composed since 1976 until today (uses and anecdotes). In the second part of the book, he shares and develops a reflection on the herbalism of today and tomorrow. He offers concrete remarks, linked to his practical experience, but also to the more sensitive perceptions that his job has made him discover.
