1935 RANGE - COTES DU RHONE VILLAGE SABLET TERROIR - From a plot selection of old vines located on the Chevalong hill, where these gentle slopes oriented towards the setting sun allow permanent aeration of the bunches thanks to the convection of the air rising during the day and descending at night. The vineyard thrives on sandy soils, decalcified red clay and pebbles of varying sizes. GRAPES - GRENACHE SYRAH MOURVEDRE VINIFICATION - Careful selection of berries and very dynamic 3-week vatting, respectful of the wine. Temperature control at each stage. Éaging for 18 months including 9 in oak barrels. TASTING - A complex aromatic nose with harmonious woodiness. Notes of vanilla, warm brioche, oak and forest fruits. The palate is ample, concentrated and rich with a liquorice finish.
