A very gourmet coffee with notes of hazelnuts and roasted almonds, and a round and sweet mouthfeel. It is very forgiving and well suited for automatic espresso machines. Fazenda Rio Brilhante is a family affair and a matter of transmission. Founded by Inácio Urban in the 80s, it was joined in 2006 by his children Erika and Fernando. The two generations together are committed to maintaining an ultra-high level of quality, and to engaging in the development of initiatives to support local communities and promote responsible agriculture. The farm is located in the state of Minas Gerais and in the surroundings of the village of Pântano. The climate there is tropical at altitude. Summers are hot with abundant rainfall and winters are drier, but the altitude helps to soften the temperatures to produce very generous fruits. Morango is the name given to the plot of land on the farm where this coffee comes from.
