CHATEAU MALIJAY Côtes du Rhône red wine

A word from the winemaker, Aude Deltin: Garnet color of medium intensity, nose combining fruity character and character on a background of pronounced spices. Ample, full, warm mouth. Fine body and heady finish on melted tannins. Vine growing and winemaking have been present at Château Malijay since 1562. Located in the heart of the southern Côtes du Rhône, 7km from Orange, the Malijay estate is located in the Côtes du Rhône and Côtes du Rhône Villages appellations Map de Dieu and adjoins the most famous appellations of the region such as Vacqueyras, Gigondas or Châteauneuf du Pape. Limestone clay 40hl/h 50% Grenache, 45% Syrah, 5% Mourvèdre Fermentation and maceration in concrete vats for 15 days. Following malolactic fermentation, aging in stainless steel vats for 12 months on fine lees.
