It was in 2017 after 5 years of amateur beekeeping that we decided to make this passion our profession. However, the path before a professional installation was still long and it took another 3 years to see our project succeed.
This is how in 2020 we created Le rucher l'miel. Installed in the department of Ain, at the confluence of the neighboring departments of Jura and Saône et Loire. Our geographical position is an asset because without having to travel far, our bees take advantage of the landscape diversity offered by these departments. They thus harvest succulent honeys with exquisite flavors.
In addition to honey and derivative products such as cartons, nougat or gingerbread, we produce royal jelly, directly extracted from our hives located on our farm. This elixir of queens is produced in small quantities and requires very specific techniques to guarantee its quality.
Since the beginning of our adventure, we have been committed to offering quality products, which is why we pay particular attention to our packaging. We only use glass jars of different sizes and our labels are made from 30% herbs and are fully compostable. In addition, their manufacturing process is more energy and water efficient.
