Le Secret Naturel

THE STORY:

Established in the heart of a small town in Provence since 2002, Le Secret Naturel was born from an alliance between André Arnaud, graduate in economics and law, and Janine Blanchard, graduate in botany, herbology and aromatherapy.
 
Initially, the company was a soap factory manufacturing organic soaps with the only ingredients: southern treasures and lots of sunshine.  
Passionate about natural cosmetics, Janine developed them in her free time for her personal use. 

She used vegetable oils from Provence and neighboring regions.
 
Little by little, André let himself be convinced by Janine's findings. 

However, although Provence is a region rich in natural ingredients, the choices were limited. 

We had to explore further. 

Find other ingredients to create different products with multiple benefits.
 
DISCOVERING THE BEST NATURAL INGREDIENTS:

We were like explorers, searching for the purest ingredients, with the aim of creating exceptional products.
 
So we went to Ghana, in Africa, where our Shea range was born. 

Then, we discovered the secrets of Ayurveda in India before exploring South America,....
 
Each of our ranges is associated with a destination. HASthrough our care, we want to break down boundaries and invite you on a journey.

We are artisans, passionate creators and proud of our professions. 

Proud to work with noble raw materials in a company on a human scale, respectful of nature and people. 

Our products are formulated and manufactured in our laboratories, by hand. 

This is, in our opinion, the best way to preserve all the virtues of our ingredients.
 
From the creation of formulas, to the marketing of products, including their manufacturing, we are careful to respect our ideals. 

True to our values, we continue our efforts and always evolve towards a better future.
 
LABELS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Our organic products are certified by ECOCERT and labeled COSMEBIO, which means that they are composed of at least 95% ingredients of organic origin.
 
However, we strive to go beyond the label requirements:
We apply a precautionary principle which consists of not using controversial ingredients even if they are authorized by organic standards.
