Buckthorn honey is renowned for its sweetness and originality.  This one is harvested by bees in the Landes forest.  It has a pretty red and quite dark color.  On the palate, its taste is fruity, balsamic and lightly flavored.  Its flavor is reminiscent of dried fruits.  Buckthorn honey is a brown honey that crystallizes very slowly and also used for its purgative and laxative properties.             Each honey from Village de François comes from responsible beekeeping practices, particularly with regard to foraging areas and treatments.  Each honey is selected for its taste quality and character, and is analyzed to guarantee its floral origin.   Le Village de François is an association which welcomes vulnerable people and their companions, offering them a roof over their heads, an economic activity and a lot of kindness.  This pot of honey that you buy allows fragile people to work, live with dignity and get back on their feet.             We package in boxes of 20 pots of the same size with the possibility of mixing the honeys within the same box.
