LEGENDARY Desk Mat WRYTE A desk pad made from a large piece of vegetable tanned saddle leather. It is a pleasure to write or work on it. Just touching the largely natural leather surface is a pleasure. Over time, ink, the rims of drinking vessels, sunlight and time will leave their mark and tell their own story. The leather was only lightly greased after dyeing and otherwise remains untreated and unembellished. The leather shows the history of the cow and that includes creases on the neck and one or two small scratches. This makes every WRYTE pad unique. This is underlined by the different color nuances of each individual piece, which can be traced back to the conscious avoidance of opaque colour. The edges were colored and polished in a complex process. Dimensions 67.5 x 47.5 cm.
