Children's Book - The Sleep Thieves

On the Isle of Dreams, the inhabitants' dreams were exceptional and everyone lived in harmony. On the Chamaille Islands, people argued over every little thing. And by quarreling too much, the inhabitants lost sleep. They then decided to steal that of their peaceful neighbors and made a terrible hot air balloon. Fortunately, Cheng and Mei, two children from Dream Island, thwarted their plan. They woke everyone up and made monstrous kites to scare away the attackers. Since then, in memory, a kite festival brings together people from all over the world to share their most beautiful creations. A poetic tale with Asian accents where dreams, nightmares and fabulous kites mingle.
