Nestled in the heart of Gascony, in the Southwest of France, L’Encantada is an independent house dedicated to revealing the authentic character of Armagnac, the oldest brandy in France.
We are both a producer and a trader. We work directly with small local producers, from whom we select unique barrels from family estates, some of which no longer exist. Each Armagnac tells the story of a terroir, a vintage, and a know-how passed down from generation to generation.
Our approach is deliberately simple and respectful of the product: preserving the integrity of the brandy as it has aged in the cellar. Our Armagnacs are therefore mostly bottled at cask strength, without reduction or additives, in order to restore all their aromatic richness.
Our range extends from rare vintage Armagnacs to more accessible profiles (VS, VSOP, XO), always with the same requirement for quality and authenticity. It appeals to both curious amateurs and connoisseurs looking for spirits with character.
Today, L’Encantada is present in specialist wine shops, in gourmet restaurants and in several international markets. The company is attracting a new generation of enthusiasts in search of sincere, transparent products deeply rooted in their local area.
