LEPLAN SL ROUGE on Ice, Wine of France, 75cl

SL-Rouge is a light wine to drink chilled. Vintage: 2023 Grape varieties: Grenache noir, Carignan, Syrah Vinification: The manually harvested grapes are sorted, destemmed and crushed. Once in the vat, maceration and alcoholic fermentation begin. These phases last 4 to 5 days at low temperature in order to keep as much fresh and delicious aroma as possible and not to extract too much material. Aging potential: 2 to 3 years Tasting note: Very beautiful carmine red color, brilliant, with lively reflections. The nose has a beautiful intensity, marked by notes of black fruits, figs, blackcurrant. The palate is fresh, delicious and elegant, for a fresh and different wine. Can be drunk very chilled. Gourmet pairings: As they say: "glouglou", to be served with platters of charcuterie and cheese. Italian dishes, such as pasta with tomato sauce, pizza margherita or bruschetta, are wise choices to accompany this wine. The notes of red fruits complement the freshness of the tomato.
