Between Vilaine and Brière, David has set up as a beekeeper harvesting since 2020 and his partner Élodie since January 2022, multiplier of swarms and queens of the Buckfast breed in the town of Nivillac in Morbihan.
David, following a Professional Certificate in Agricultural Operations Manager and multiple experiences with Breton beekeepers, turned to his passion to make it his new profession.
He loves and respects his bees who repay him by producing quality honey from spring until the end of summer.
David practices sedentary beekeeping, he moves his hives only to follow the chestnut and buckwheat flowering within a radius of 20 km around the farm.
Les Abeilles d’Avril produces spring honey, summer honey, chestnut honey, Brière honey and buckwheat honey.
