As in most families, our grandmother still has a few things to say... and so it came about that, under her strict gaze and instructions, we made our Pâté No. 4 made: with an extra portion of liver, which is cut a little coarser and then marinated in a fine cognac and pastis overnight. And what can we say: a great pâté has emerged with a strong but pleasant taste of liver. Your name is commandment: Grand-mère! We are happy to serve a homemade apple compote and sometimes not a baguette but a brioche or a pain d'épices. The strong liver flavor of our Grand-mère harmonises best with an aromatic Gewürztraminer from Alsace.
