Our GARAM MASALA spice blend is a very present and popular spice blend in Indian and Pakistani culinary culture. 

It is used to add a warm, sweet and spicy flavor to many dishes.   The name "garam masala" literally means "hot spice mixture" in Hindi, referring to spices that have a warming effect on the body according to traditional Indian medicine.   Garam Masala originates from northern India and Pakistan. 

It is traditionally used in Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Nepalese cuisine, but it is found in the gastronomy of Mauritius or Reunion Island. 

The name "garam masala" literally means "hot spice mixture" in Hindi, referring to spices that have a warming effect on the body according to traditional Indian medicine.   Garam Masala is mainly used to flavor dishes at the end of cooking.  It can be added to meat, vegetable, rice or lentil dishes. 

It is also used for the preparation of certain Indian dishes such as curry.
