My name is Valérie but everyone calls me Valou.
I create my jewelry and interior decoration objects from the top of the Aubrac Plateau (1250 m altitude!)in Auvergne (Made in France!).
All my creations are unique pieces, 100% handmade with passion, each different from each other. I like to spend time imagining the designs and colors that I will then reproduce on each object.
Whether decorative objects (trays, jewelry pots, vases, storage compartments, etc.)),or jewelry (earrings or necklaces) my pleasure is to draw inspiration from everything that surrounds me (and in particular the mineral nature of Aubrac) and which gives me joy.
Discover quality objects with a simple and timeless design, manufactured in an eco-responsible way, made from ceramic powder (calcium sulfate). All-natural, non-toxic, eco-friendly, chemical-free material.
Each piece is cast then sanded by hand for a smooth, soft-to-the-touch finish and decorated by hand. They are then protected using a vegetable wax or a marine varnish to waterproof them.
In color or pure white, in a romantic, country chic or even bohemian style, they transmit messages that are good, that resemble us, that speak to us and accompany us on a daily basis.
I invite you to discover my world and I hope to communicate to you through my objects a piece of the happiness and joy that animate me when I create them :-)
