It was during botanical outings that I discovered wild plants. Initially, it was about learning to identify edible and medicinal plants, a bit like a druid or a witch (a nice witch, of course).
Then, little by little, I tested it and realized that medicinal plants could have real effects on minor everyday ailments. So I wanted to deepen my knowledge... Here I am, registered for the 3-YEAR herbalist training!!! within the Lyon School of Medicinal Plants and Natural Knowledge. Should I go back to school now? Besides my job, will I be able to do it?
From there, began 3 exciting years (of hard work, I must admit) during which I learned botany (and the Latin that goes with it), plant chemistry, the functioning of the human body and the pathologies that can impact it, aromatherapy, etc. In short, everything I wanted to know about medicinal plants and ESPECIALLY about the risks if they are not used safely.
The day of the Grand Oral arrives, what stress! And what a joy when the Jury announced to me that I was officially a herbalist. I remember my tears of joy and my children asking me why I was crying when I had succeeded? ( Just thinking about it brings tears to my eyes.)
Then came the desire to create medicinal herbal teas that were different from the others, using plants that weren't necessarily "trendy" and with specific goals, without any risk to you, regardless of your medical history. From there, the choice of plants begins, the taste tests, the tests on my "guinea pigs" (thank you to you my guinea pigs, they will recognize themselves). Then the creation of the company, the name, the logo, the name of the herbal teas, the labels, the bags... Then I had to find a herbalist who would supply me with my plants. But be careful, not just any herbalist, the herbalist I chose is family-run, specialized in the picking and cultivation of medicinal plants and French of course.
And here I am, facing you at various trade fairs and markets, at my partner producers' premises, and today on this website. Please know that each herbal tea bag was created in my home with love and kindness. My dearest wish is that it brings you happiness and well-being.
