Les "Sablés d'Asnelles" is an artisanal biscuit factory founded in 1904. It is located in the heart of the small town of Asnelles, in Calvados (14).
Developed by the baker of the time, the recipe for the mythical shortbread with Isigny PDO pure butter has never changed, an ancestral recipe, well kept and passed down from generation to generation. Asnelles shortbread is a simple shortbread, with the taste and scent of yesteryear, made from quality ingredients duly selected and mainly local; French wheat flour, sugar, PDO butter from Isigny sur mer and eggs from free-range hens... The manufacturing methods are artisanal, the breaking of fresh eggs is done by hand as well as the clearing and canning cookies.
