LES SAVONS DE LOUISON, a Breton artisanal soap factory, offers you a range of solid soaps as well as hand and lip balms.
All our soaps and cosmetics are designed and manufactured by hand, in an artisanal way, in my laboratory near Concarneau, in South Finistère. Our manufacturing is respectful of people and the environment, and our packaging is reduced to a minimum in order to limit waste.
We are committed to selecting and promoting products from organic, fair trade or local agriculture.
LES SAVONS DE LOUISON aims to introduce solid soaps and change mentalities by promoting French know-how.
Our “LA RUCHE” range will allow you to discover the benefits of honey and beeswax from the hives surrounding the soap factory, particularly those from the “L’ABEILLE FINISTÉRIENNE” association’s school apiary.
The soap factory is fortunate to be hosted by the Impuls'ions Cooperative, a cooperative recognized as being of social utility, working towards the healthy development of tomorrow's work, mutual aid with strong ethical and environmental rules.
Who is behind LES SAVONS DE LOUISON?
After my baccalaureate, I wanted to study cosmetics without daring to do so. The mentality of the cosmetics world in the early 2000s did not match my vision of beauty and women.
So I opted for a more “classic” route. I worked in assistance and accounting for almost 15 years. First in a cultural association with national influence, then in an auditing and accounting firm.
Because you can have several lives in one life, I took the crazy gamble of listening to my heart and becoming a professional soap maker.
How did the project come about?
The project was born after the birth of our eldest daughter. We asked ourselves the question of the manufacture of industrial food and cosmetic products.
The first homemade products were laundry detergent and cleaning products. Then soaps and cosmetics very quickly joined the game.
Over the course of my experiences, I learned artisanal soap making using cold saponification and then in a cauldron.
The soap factory was created on February 1, 2022, by joining the Impuls’ions entrepreneurs’ cooperative.
After several months of gestation, the LES SAVONS DE LOUISON soap factory has finally been launched!
