LES SAVONS DE LOUISON, an artisanal Breton soap factory, offers a range of solid soaps as well as hand and lip balms.
All our soaps and cosmetics are designed and made by hand, in an artisanal way, in my laboratory near Concarneau, in southern Finistère. Our manufacturing is respectful of people and the environment, and our packaging is reduced to a minimum in order to limit waste.
We are committed to selecting and promoting products from organic, fair trade or local farming.
LES SAVONS DE LOUISON claims to want to introduce solid soaps and to change mentalities by promoting French know-how.
Our “LA RUCHE” range will introduce you to the benefits of honey and beeswax from the hives that surround the soap factory, in particular those of the apiary-school of the “L’ABEILLE FINISTERIENNE” association.
The soap factory is fortunate to be hosted by the Impuls'ions Cooperative, a recognized social utility cooperative, working for the healthy development of tomorrow's work, mutual aid with strong ethical and environmental rules.
Who is behind LES SAVONS DE LOUISON?
After my baccalaureate, I wanted to orient myself in cosmetics studies without daring to do so. The mentality of the cosmetics world at the beginning of the 2000s did not correspond to my vision of beauty and women.
So I opted for a “more” classic course. I worked in assistantship and accounting for almost 15 years. First in a cultural association with national influence, then in an audit and accounting firm.
Because you can have several lives in one life, I took the crazy bet of listening to my heart and becoming a professional soap maker.
How was the project born ?
The project was born after the birth of our eldest daughter. We asked ourselves the question of the manufacture of industrial food and cosmetic products.
The first homemade products were laundry and cleaning products. Then soaps and cosmetics were very quickly invited into the game.
Over the course of my experiences, I learned artisanal soap making in cold saponification then in a cauldron.
The soap factory was created on February 1, 2022 by integrating the cooperative of entrepreneurs Impuls'ions.
After several months of gestation, the LES SAVONS DE LOUISON soap factory is finally launched!

The soap factory undertakes to use only organic products and/or from local agriculture.
All soaps and cosmetics are designed and made by hand, in an artisanal way, in my laboratory in Rosporden, in southern Finistère.
