Still white wine - Sudains

Grapes: Vermentino (80%) and Roussanne (20%) Soil: Sandy loam and gravel. Climate: Plots at the foot of the Luberon, at an altitude of 300 m. Vines: Vines certified organic farming. Vintage: A vintage marked by a hot and dry climate. After a cold winter, the vine was able to return to its late budburst cycle and thus avoid spring frosts. A start to the season under mild and healthy weather, despite a lack of rainfall, allowed good development of the vines and the bunches. The summer was very hot with numerous heat waves but also great drought. The rains expected on August 15 were liberating and the weather in September allowed harvesting at perfect maturity. 2022 is in our eyes a very good vintage. Vinification: In stainless steel vats, with a hint of wood (10%) to bring roundness. Certified organic alcoholic fermentation. Aging: On fine lees.
