Domaine La Lauzeta - Corteza - Red - ORGANIC - 2020: A fine, fair and fruity red wine. This is a great introduction to discovering the wines of the estate. Made from a blend of Syrah, Carignan and Grenache, the vines are between 14 and 52 years old. The grapes are grown on plots of local schist. Now certified in Organic Agriculture by Ecocert since 2015, the yield of this vintage is 22hl/hectare. This represents nearly 7,300 bottles in production. The harvests are done manually with an initial sorting by plot. Then the grapes are destemmed and crushed for the Carignan and then the starters. Regarding the Syrah, they are destemmed and crushed and the Grenache will undergo carbonic maceration. Vinification is done in stainless steel vats with native yeast. Finally, vinification ends with malolactic fermentation in vats followed by stirring during the aging phase. The wine has no sugar: 0g/l
