Glenfiddich Fire & Cane - 43%: A single malt from the Scottish region of Speyside. It belongs to the Originals Series, which shakes up the codes of whiskey, with a totally contemporary marriage. Sweetness and smoke meet for an unexpected alliance. The cellar master, Brian Kinsman, revolutionized the House of Glenfiddich, by distilling a peated whiskey in their stills. He then envisaged a successful marriage with a whiskey previously aged in ex-Bourbon barrels. The final finish was carried out over a few months, in barrels that had contained rum, in order to give it additional sweetness and complexity.
