Domaine Léos - Cuvée Augusta Rosé 2022: This elegant organic rosé, with a pale "rose petal" colour, is a great rosé wine that is pure, fresh and of remarkable breadth. A singular character, born from a subtle balance between the fresh and mountainous character of Ventoux, the spicy and sunny aromatic of the Alpilles and the sweetness of the Luberon, which allows it to be both an aperitif wine and the companion ideal for a meal. The first nose is seductive, with very floral notes and white-fleshed fruits. The mouth is ample with a lot of roundness. The attack is frank, a nice length in the mouth sets in and leaves a pleasant aromatic persistence. Definitely a rosé for lovers of great wine. Our concern for the greatest respect for the environment has led us to completely redesign the bottle for this 2022 vintage. Considerably lightened with a design combining lightness and elegance, its manufacture allows us to be part of an energy reduction approach. and it facilitates responsible transportation. Domaine Domaine Léos: Domaine Leos is located in the town of Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, at the gates of the Luberon, in the Vaucluse. It is built on an old Roman oppidum, which later housed a hospital commandery, transformed into an agricultural farm during the revolution and which had hundreds of olive trees, almond trees and vines. Today, after a complete renovation in 2007 thanks to the love at first sight of Patrick Bruel, current owner of the place, this estate has nearly 3000 olive trees which give rise to the production of an extra virgin olive oil fruity green exception. The production is completed by olives from the Provençal territory which constitute the Selection range. With CUVÉE AUGUSTA Rosé, this wine was born from the meeting between Patrick Bruel (owner of Domaine de Leos) and Nicolas Jaboulet (Maison Domaines les Alexandrins). The authentic taste and passion for the terroirs that brought them together allowed them to go further in the search for a wine of excellence with the ambition of making a rosé wine like Nicolas Jaboulet makes his great white wines from the region.
