At LILYSILK, we believe that zero waste can make a difference. We produce items made from natural fibers instead of synthetic. Synthetic fibers are made from fossil fuel making production more energy-intensive. The natural fibers we use are degradable and only take 1-5 years to decompose, which is x50 times faster than synthetic materials. Our silk is sourced from Mulberry Trees which require less water than cotton to grow, and they are not sprayed with pesticides to protect the soil. Change doesn’t happen overnight, but we will do our best to start small and gradually move towards more significant changes.
