Featuring a golden yellow color with light amber reflections and some shades of green. Its nose is first dominated by spicy notes, then toasted and vanilla. On the palate we appreciate aromas of quince jam and fresh peat on the attack; then come notes of mandarin, cereals and dried leaves. This old rum, a blend of old barrels from Guadeloupe, Guatemala and Venezuela, offers an impressive spectrum of flavors and perfumes to sublimate the finest palates. Paul Archambeaud, last manager of the prestigious “Grande distillerie de Bordeaux” left a small black notebook full of many secret family recipes. This notebook passed on to his grandson Renaud de Barry enabled the rebirth of this exceptional brand “Jockey Club”. It was for the house “Archambeaud Frères”, created in 1820, the brand of premium spirits allowing them to present to their loyal customers, alongside their own productions, clever blends from friendly family distilleries throughout the world.
