LiveMoor Stainless Steel Wax Melter - 28L

Our new LiveMoor Stainless Steel Wax Melter is 28L in size (actual capacity 19L)  They are perfect for melting various types of waxes from Soy to Paraffin, perfect for those projects requiring larger pours, with a handy bottom tap to safely and cleanly pour your hot wax into their respective moulds / jugs.  We also supply aluminium jugs, found HERE which are the perfect accompaniment to these quality wax melters. It's normal for wax to set between the main body and the tap in between pours. This is due to the previous wax setting when cooled. We recommend cleaning out the tap after each use so that no wax can block the flow for future pours. To do this, we use a small bottle brush / cable tie to push through the tap into the main melter body. Please ensure the tap is fully open and wax is not above the tap line within the main body of the melter in order to remove any excess wax inside the tap itself and prevent wax hardening and blockages in-between pours. It is advisable not to overfill or leave large quantities of wax in the melter in between pours as this will cause extremely long melt times and potential issues with the thermostat / anti-dry protection device cutting out to prevent dry burning and over heating.  After each pour, only leave enough wax in the melter to create a base for your next session (below the tap line) and only adding more wax once the remaining wax has fully melted in order to create a more even heat distribution. Never leave the melter unattended when in use. Do not leave the melter on for extended periods of time (more than 3 hours) as this can cause damage to the element and / or thermostat. Turn off the wax melter once your wax is at the desired temperature, only turning back on to re-heat the wax back to the desired level or to add more wax.
