Considered one of Africa’s botanical treasures, the Marula tree has a long history in African culture. The raw materials for the oil are harvested and pressed by community collectives of mostly women. Semi-solid at ambient temperatures, immersion in a hot-water bath will bring it to a liquid state. Color: Pale yellow to golden yellow stratified semi-solids. Aromatic Description: Marula has a slight oily scent that can change based on the growing season and when the fruit was harvested (spring and fall).
