Lizia was born in June 2018, when Cédric, a reading enthusiast, decided to solve a simple problem: reading comfortably with one hand without disturbing those around him.💡
Using a 3D printer, he created a prototype: an ergonomic, lightweight reading lamp that holds the book open, illuminates the pages and serves as a bookmark. ✨
In May 2020, Lucas joined the project. Together, the two Breton engineers 🤝 will refine more than 200 prototypes before finalizing the perfect version of Lizia. The trademark was officially registered in July 2021. ✅
In 2022, Lizia launched a crowdfunding campaign on Ulule, which was a great success: more than €100,000 raised and 3,800 pre-sales in just a few weeks 🚀. In 2023, the invention won a medal at the Concours Lépine 🏅, a national recognition that recognizes their innovative work. The same year, the brand was present at the Paris Fair and the Made in France trade fair, events in which it will also participate in 2024 and 2025. In 2025, Lizia is also exhibited at the Paris Book Festival.🎯
