Fair Isle Snood

Made from 100% recycled yarn in a warm wool blend, this cosy snood is exuberantly colourful, with stripes of Fair Isle style knitted patterns along the full length. The snood is totally reversible, and can be worn wrapped either once or twice around the neck. The colours match the jumpers, cardigans and other accessories in this collection. This collection was inspired by traditional British hand-knitting techniques which have been passed down for generations. The Fair Isle patterns are a combination of traditional motifs and our own inventions. Manufactured in a Tuscan factory with sustainability at its core, our yarn is recycled from a selection of the best pre and post consumer regenerated materials, which are particularly soft, resistant to use and with excellent thermal qualities. The use of a large percentage of wool in the blend also makes the fabric warmer and more breathable than a similar knit made entirely from synthetics. Colours are achieved by blending the colours of the original fibres being recycled, so avoiding the need to reprocess the yarn. This saves significantly on the use of dyes, water and power.
