The peculiarity of forest honey lies in its mixture of various nectars and honeydews. It can be harvested from all the forests of the territory. This honey has been collected mainly on oaks, chestnuts, brambles and a variety of undergrowth flowers. These are all possible sources to develop its fragrant and powerful taste. Honeydew occurs from early June to late August.
