It is washed after shearing and gently cleaned and dried without the addition of chemicals. It is then processed into small balls, which means that the wool retains its natural bulkiness. This type of processing preserves the natural content of lanolin in the new wool. It also accounts for the typical and natural smell of new wool. Our new wool cushions are natural and therefore odor and dirt repellent. The new wool is also moisture-regulating and can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in moisture. In this way, it can ensure a particularly pleasant, dry and warm sleeping climate. It would become matted and thereby lose its natural self-cleaning effect. It is completely sufficient if you air the new wool pillow well and put it in the sun from time to time so that it can dry well.
